About

Aleem Isiaka

I’m Aleem Isiaka, a backend and cloud engineer with nearly a decade spent making systems hold up under load. My work sits at the intersection of site reliability engineering, cloud-native tooling, and distributed infrastructure — architecting high-throughput systems, cutting latency, and keeping uptime boring.

I’ve led distributed teams through infrastructure overhauls and delivered measurable results: response times cut by more than half, SDK adoption up 60%, API latency taken from ten seconds to under one. Today I build payment infrastructure at Kredete serving millions of users, across AWS, GCP, and Cloudflare.

Outside the day job I co-organize GopherCon Africa, contribute to Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Jaeger through the CNCF, and run ObjectSpread and WitOps. I write to remove the magic from technologies by showing how they work from the inside — and I keep a public reading log, because engineering is as much curiosity as execution.

If it must be done twice, I'll automate it. If it must serve millions, I design it to scale.
